Our Story & Vision
Born in Istanbul—the undisputed global capital of hair restoration—Hair Medical Shop was established with a singular mission: to make the aftercare products people are given in Istanbul easy to reorder from home.
Founded by Furkan Vedat Gungor, who worked as a product marketing manager in the cosmetics industry. The problem he kept seeing was a simple one: people came home from a transplant in Istanbul with a shelf full of products and no reliable way to buy them again once they were back in the UK.
Today, Hair Medical Shop stands as a premium UK hub, so that people recovering from a hair transplant can reorder the same brands they were given in the clinic, without customs surprises at the door.

Hair Medical Shop is an independent, premium retailer. We buy directly from the brands we sell and hold our own stock, so nothing reaches you through a third-party marketplace. Every product we list is supplied to us as genuine.
How We Actually Work

Choosing What We Stock
We add a brand only after we have used it ourselves and seen its ingredient list, safety file and certificates. If we cannot get those documents, we do not list it.
Questions Before You Buy
Message us and you will get a straight answer about which product suits which stage of recovery. We are retailers, not clinicians, so for anything medical your surgeon or a GP comes first.
After You Order
We answer WhatsApp and email every day, usually within a few hours. If a parcel goes missing or an item arrives damaged, tell us and we will put it right.
Shipping
Orders leave our warehouse in Istanbul by FedEx or UPS and usually reach UK addresses in three to five working days. For UK orders, shipping is free and all duties and taxes are paid by us. Orders to the EU, Switzerland, Norway and the US also ship free; there, import duties and taxes are paid on delivery.
